Ingredients

White tea & Black Tea
1,000 Mile Tea - This high energy tea was blended by Tea Master Jenny Tse Owner of @sippingstreams Tea Company in Fairbanks, Alaska. This highly caffeinated tea is the official tea of the Yukon Quest international sled dog race. It’s a mixture of four different strains of high-end white and black tea. It was created to compete with the coffee sponsors of the race, so it had to be STRONG. It also had to be “Fool Proof”, so that when the mushers opened their thermos three hours into the race it wouldn’t taste bitter.

Tasting Notes

1.Minerals / Fertile Soil
2.Wet River Rocks
3.Sugar Cane Stalk / Molasses
4.Sweet Yams
5.This tea was naturally sweet and quite pleasant on the pallet. The taste of minerals was present like that of wet river rocks and soil. The sweetness was perfect and tasted like chewing the end of a sugar cane stalk. It had subtle undertones of velvety molasses, and sweet yams. Oh, and the caffeine kick was LEGIT. I’ve been alert and amped for hours after drinking 6 infusions of this tea! Two thumbs way up for this magnificent blend! In Arctic regions, tea has long been used by mushers, bush pilots, and villagers for health and nutrition. From Fairbanks, Alaska in the USA to Whitehorse, Yukon Territory in Canada, wherever the journey begins and ends, one cup is enough. 🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕 🛷 🫖 🙌🏼 ⁣
