I used Vahdam India Assam black tea, fresh ginger, cardamom, cinnamon sticks, cloves, fennel, nutmeg, star anise, whole milk, and jaggery to sweeten the deal. The taste is rich, sweet, and spicy from the black pepper and fresh ginger. VERY tasty! The main benefit of chai I notice is how it opens my senses and wakes my brain up! Whenever I’m tired, a cup of tea always lifts my spirits.
