This is the most extraordinary tea we've tasted in several years! Sourced from trees averaging over 100 years old, this tea is harvested only once annually and has natural notes of juicy baked plum. Unlike tea sourced from a monoculture tea plantation, this tea comes from tea trees grown in a bio-diverse region in the Lincang region of China's Yunnan Province, with an elevation ranging between 4,500–6,000 ft. The unique environment impacts the natural and complex flavors of the tea. Although this tea is a black tea, the flavor reminds us of fruit forward Dan Cong oolong tea from China's Guangdong Province.
